HI, I'M REEM

Journalistic beginnings

While attending the University of Utah, I have managed to gain experience as a Multimedia Journalist for notable collegiate agencies which include Her Campus, The Utah Daily Chronicle,  and You of U News.

Not only was I capable of paving my journalistic beginnings, but I was also able to pave my way in creative writing and film production.

I've written multiple scripts, ranging from various genres, including one finished horror feature and a comedic web show. 

​

In regards to production, I have produced various short skits, documentaries, travel recaps, and a finished web series pilot. 

​

My drive and passion have given me a current position at ABC4 News in Salt Lake City, Utah (one of America's top 30 news markets).  There I started as an Assignment Desk Editor and shortly advanced to the position of a Digital Content Producer.

When I'm not working, most of my time is invested in screenwriting and working on my podcast LOL Adulthood. 

​

As I advance further into my career, I hope to gain more experience in broadcasting, journalism, and entertainment media.
